Masked Sea Shell Tilda Card

Hello Again Everyone,
Well, what a strange day we are having with the weather here in the UK. All day its either been torrential rain and thunder storms, or brilliant sunshine!!!

I masked new release Seashell Tilda with a towel and seashells. The new collection is really versatile and lend themselves to masking really well. I just love them.

I have coloured the images with promarkers and copics and layered the image with colour core card and distressed it using the  sanding method.
Both Papers are Maja Spring Basics Collection, the one to the back is a beautiful blue an pink floral and the one to the front is a gorgeous multi tonal blue.

The blue paper is bordered with Magnolia Swedish lace border doohickey die cuts and I've also used floral corner doohickeys too!

I didn't want to use too many flowers, so I just added a few and a couple of beaded sprigs, from the ribbon girl and hobby house.

The little resin bird is also from the ribbon girl and the beautiful cluny lace is from Live and Love crafts. (Links in my sidebar for all online stores).

Finally I added a little starfish and flip flop charm to the image!

I hope that you like my card.

My First Ever Tag Card!

Hello Again Everyone,

I just popped on today to show you my first ever tag card, using Tilda With Rosettes.

I wanted to make something a little different and thought that I hadn't tried this style before and wanted to give it a go.

I coloured Tilda with copics, promarkers & highlighted with prisma pencils. I then cut her out to sit on the face of the card, rather than inside.  I have used Magnolia and Maja Spring Basics Papers for all of the card and large tags that I die cut, distressed and embellished with looped and satin ribbon and spider web fabric. Which also covers the central circle.

I've dotted some flat back gems about to add a bit of bling too!

Both Borders are Martha Stewart punched borders. The lace, flowers, looped ribbon, spider web fabric and tiny pom poms (which I adore) are from the ribbon girl.
Links can be found in my sidebar for the ribbon girl and my other favourite online stores.

I hope that you like my first ever tag card and would love to hear your comments.

Have a lovely Day

Hello Everyone, Welcome to my blog. Well, its that time again, the fashionista challenge blog has a new challenge for you.

This Challenge is WINGS of any kind, how easy is that?

We are sponsored by the lovely Sherri Baldy and you have a chance of winning a wonderful prize from her. Sherri creates the most adorable stamps and digi images, she is a wonderfully talented lady!

So pop along and see what my teamies have also created for inspiration.

I have used Sherri's Super Cute 694 Bestie for this Challenge, how adorable is she?

I have coloured her with copics and as she is a fairy I have of course glittered her wings!!!
I mean, whats a fairy without a little fairy dust!

This little sweetie is mounted onto a die cut frame with tiny pom poms also framing the image itself.

I made two fimo dragon flies, distressed one in Victorian velvet and one in peacock then frantaged them with Shabby pink and Aged Ivory!

The Cute butterflies are cut from glitter paper in my goodies in my craft room. And I have distressed doohickey peacock feathers with DI's in peacock and victorian velvet.

I have distressed a heart "So Wrapped up Doohickey, threaded with ribbon and shabby seam binding, with a tiny dragon fly charm.

The papers are of course magnolia butterfly paper. The flowers, bird and pom pom trim all from the ribbon girl.
Link in my sidebar.

Besities Of OZ Card Challenge Card

With the So Wrapped Up Doohickey removed from behind the image.

Hi All, I hope your enjoying the weekend! Its quite overcast and cool here today in the my part of the UK, but the warm weather is set to continue from tomorrow - even hotter! So today is a welcome break from the heat, but I do love the sunshine we have been having!

As it says in my profile, my favourite film is the wizard of OZ, I'm still a big kid at heart and was looking forward to this challenge!

I have made this card mainly for the Besties of OZ challenge. I love the cute fairy and had a lot of fun colouring her up. I coloured her with copics and distressed her a little with DI and added stickles and liquid pearls on her crown.

I added some contrasting paper behind her, aswell as lace, doily and cheesecloth.

I filled an adorable little glass bottle with glitter for her fairy dust and added lots of pretty floral from the ribbon girl and live and love crafts.

Included is a die cut a little crown and a rolled rose flower and I covered the butterfly border with a second layer  of paper to create a 3D effect and distressed all of these elements, with paint and DI.

The' So Wrapped Up Doohickey' is stamped with a "feel the magic" sentiment and is wrapped with shabby seam binding, Strung pearls, crown charm and looped ribbon, all items are from the afore mentioned shops.
(Links can be found in my sidebar)

The inside is lined, distressed and embellished with a large doily and the sentiment is from Magnolia!

I hope that you like my card and enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Back from my hols and straight into my craft room

Hello Everyone, Well I'm back from my hols and to this beautiful weather too!!! How wonderful!

We had two lovely weeks away in Spain, with temperatures reaching upto 50C, which I can tell you, was  exceptional, even in Spain, we put on plenty of suntan lotion and lazed about the pool in the SHADE hee hee!

Anyway enough of my hols. I wanted to make a card as soon as I came home, I really missed colouring and creating.
I have masked Tilda with Cross necklace with the open gate background and have coloured both with copics and Promarkers. I coloured the rose deep red, so that it would stand out from the other flowers in the picture.

All my papers are lovely floral magnolia papers. I cut the card base from Go Kreate Frilly Frame No 10 and added another smaller layer cut from the same frame. Then I cut both Magnolia papers with Spellbinders Grand Decorative Labels No 1 and placed them at angles to each other.

I made one of my hand made pins and a diamontee center for the crotchet flower that I had in my goodies! The Tim Holtz Sentiment is held in place by a Tim Holtz Ideology pin and I had distressed it and scrunched it quite a bit.

Ive used some Kort Godt Rolled Roses and poppies from Live and Love Crafts and the resin bird and centre to the crotchet flower are both from the ribbon girl. (links are in my sidebar)

I hope you like my card, enjoy the lovely weather everyone.
Take Care
