Cute Rose Blossom Besties Card

Hello Everyone,

I am popping on with this cute bestie card, as I off on my hols for two weeks, in a few hours!

Her Name is Rose Blossom and as soon as I saw her, I knew how I wanted to colour her! I used prisma pencils, using the LOS technique which is my favourite technique.

I mixed aged ivory and shabby pink together, to frantage the edges of the image and used one of the Fleur De Lis Squares, from Spellbinder frame to cut out the lovely border around it, I distressed the border using a sanding method.

I took a little inspiration from my friend Chris, at Chris's Cards and used a large square doily, Chris makes stunning cards and I think the doilies really work well with besties.
Thank you Chris!

I  used a square of Maja spring basics papers in the middle of the doiley and covered the main section of the card with Cordinations colour core card. I bought this beautiful spider web net  fabric at the ribbon girl and applied it over the colour core card. I think this really adds a nice dimension to the card.

The double bow is created from two beautiful fluted edge sheer organza ribbons from the ribbon girl. The sentiment wrapped wooden spool and beautiful cluney lace are from Live and Love Crafts.
(All Links in my sidebar, to on line stores.)

I finished with a few cherry blossoms from the hobby house and Distressed Magnolia Doohickey Leaves and fencing.

I hope you like my card.
Thank you for dropping by and Take care.
Big excited cuddles Jay xxx

Fashionista Challenge - Birthday Or Wedding Card Challenge

Hello Everyone, Jay here with my card for the Fashionista Challenge Blog, this time around the DT would love to see your Wedding Or Birthday Cards.

Our Sponsors for this challenge are Milk & Coffee, my image is Glamorous Tiffany, you have the chance of winning some of the beautiful digi's in their on line store.

Why not pop over to the challenge and see my teamies inspiration!

As most of you will know the papers that I have used are Magnolia, teamed up with two textured papers, from Coredinations Range, (colour core card) which I have distressing via the sanding method.

Tiffany is coloured with copics and her dress is mainly C1, C2, C3 & C5, with a tiny hint of Rose Pink, Dark Pink and Pale Pink for the flowers and her waist sash, both flowers have tiny gems in the centres. I've also frantaged around the image to add some sparkle, with shabby pink, I also always highlight my images with light blue grey copic No B60.

I have uesed a few of the new Magnolia Banners and a couple of Magnolia Ticket Tags.

The lace at the bottom of the card is fantastic, as it can be threaded with any colour ribbon to match your creation! It's available from the ribbon girl, as are the Kort And Godt Rolled Roses and the stargazer lillies. The large iridescent embellishment is edged with crystal right around and I just adore how glamorous they are!

I tried my first fimo creation and added the cute little chipboard birthday greeting from unique crafts, which is based in Holland.

I've also added some cheesecloth and metal corner from Wild Orchid Crafts, links to Wild Orchid and the Ribbon girl online stores can be found in my sidebar.

I look forward to seeing all your beautiful creations over at the Fashionista Challenge Blog and thank you for stopping by.

Take Care

Cute Winter Elf Christmas Card (Saturated Canary)

Hello Everyone, I hope you enjoyed the fine weather over the weekend, it was glorious here!

I decided that for a change, I would make a start on my Christmas cards.

So here is my first one, I have used Krista Smiths cute baby elf with candy cane, isn't he sweet.  I have coloured him with promarkers, copics and highlighted with prisma pencils. I also stickled his wings and glazed the little bell on his hat!

I didn't want to use too many florals as I think that this card is more male themed, so just a few cherry blossoms.

I have used two chipboard sayings "Let it snow and Snow Fun" from unique crafts, I think that they are based in Holland. I threaded the large stitched tag with beautiful organza ribbon from the ribbon girl, the tag also comes with a textured sleeve to slid it into.

All papers are magnolia and I have used a large snowflake glittered with diamond dust coarse glitter. The lovely cherry blossoms are also from the hobby house.

I hope that you like my card.
Thank you for popping by.

Delightful Tilda Card

Hello Everyone, I hope your are all enjoying the weekend! Its bright and sunny here in the Wirral, ideal day for laundry groan!

I did also have time to make this card too and here it is.

I have used Delightful Tilda From The Special Moments Collection and have coloured her with Promarkers and Prisma Pencils.

The Paper is from the Maja Summer Basic Papers Pad with of course my colour core card stock, which I have distressed.

The Beautiful Florals are from the hobby house, ribbon girl and L&L Crafts, all links are in my side bar.

There are two sentiments in this card, the first one on the face of the card reads: Sometimes a girl has to pull out all the stops and the inside sentiment reads: may your day be as special as you are to me.

How cute is the little feather mask, I found a pack of four in my craft store, they are super dainty and I just love them!

I have distressed the card in various ways and added one of my favourite doohickey " So Wrapped Up Heart", threaded with lace and ribbon to match the card!

That's all for now chickies, enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Tilda With Cross

Hello Everyone, I hope you're all loving the sun shiney weekend, as much as I am!!!!

I Used one of the new range of cute Tilda's, she is Tilda with Cross Necklace, isn't she adorable! I have coloured her with prisma pencils and copics. For a change, I gave her a stripy dress and used liquid pearls to embossed the cross necklace. I also used two striped tilda ticket tags to match.

The papers are of course Maja Summer Basics Papers and all of the florals are all from the ribbon girl, the cute pink diamontee is from there too.

The guazy ribbon is from the Live and Love Crafts, I've added a sentiment from my own stash of goodies.

I have also used my favourite "So Wrapped Up" Heart Doohickey, which is removable and is wrapped with baby blue lace and shabby seam binding from live and love crafts.

The Edges of the image are frantaged and I have done the same with the metal corner to complete the bordering effect.

I hope that you like my creation.

Thanks for stopping by, Take Care Jay xxx

Love Love Love Tilda

Good day everyone, its a bit of a mixed bag of weather today in the UK, with some sunny spells and some gray drab clouds. The reason for me telling you this, is that there are some variations in the colours of my card, depending on whether it was sunny when I took that particular photo!

Firstly I would like to thank Gina for her help with a couple of things this week, she is a lovely lady and I can highly recommend popping over to her blog, Thank you Gina x

This is cute little Love Love Love Tilda, I have coloured her with copics for a change from my usual prisma pencils hee hee! She is from the new range.

I just love the frame and she only just managed to squeeze in! I frantaged the frame with shabby pink  and have used a large selection of die cuts. Yes, I am still trying to make something different hee hee, as my cards where all looking very similar.

I had intended to use the papers as backing papers, but they were so nice, it seemed a shame to cover most of them up, they are from my never ending stash of papers, that are taking over my craft room!

I hope that you like the little chip board birthday sentiment, it is from unique crafts as is the frame. The Kort & Godt Rolled Roses are from the lovely ribbon girl & the bark heart is from Live and Love Crafts (links in side bar).

I created a two layer on the edge butterfly border and a selection of butterflies and dragon flies that are all distress with DI.

I hope that you like my card and enjoy the sunny weather that must be coming!!!!
Take Care,
Big Cuddles Jay xxx

Fashionista Challenge DT Card - This month is show us your Magnolia Tilda's

Hello Everyone,  This is my first post as DT member for the Fashionista Challenge!

Here is my card, featuring Tilda In Long Stockings.

I have used maja design spring basics paper and have used vintage beige to frantage the panel behind, as you can see, I have also frantaged half the ceramic heart above too.

I coloured Tilda with copics in duck blue, aqua blue, aqua and frost blue and layered her onto a triple embossed die cut spellbinders oval.

The stunning aqua ribbon is from the ribbon girl, as is the blue pearl with diamontes and also Kort & Godt Rolled Roses. The lace underneath and the ceramic heart are from live and love crafts. All links for online stores, can be found in my side bar.

I bought the beautiful blue cloud from a kind lady on ebay and for a change from the norm, I have used two "So Wrapped Up" Magnolia Doohickeys. I have threaded the cream linen textured doohickey with shabby seam binding, lace and strung pearls with a cute little button charm and the aqua floral one is threaded with distressed sheer fabric.

I hope you like my creation.  Pop over to the fashionista challenge blog to see more inspiration from my lovely teamies.

Take care

Look who popped through my door today!!!

Hi Everyone, Wow, don't you just love her!!! She popped through my door and brought six lovely friends along with her!

Meet Tilda Binding Flowers! From The New Special Moments Collection.

I coloured her up first, as she is my favourite, I used prisma pencils using the LOS technique and promarkers for her skin and hair. I cut out the central oval from this spellbinders die and distressed it, then frontaged it with shabby pink. Then cut out a second panel from a triple embossed panel, to use behind to add contrast!
I also had a happy accident, the central oval became dome shaped, as I heat embossed it right around with the frantage, you can mainly see it in the picture above.

For a change this is pion paper and I have used my favourite distressed colour core card stock again!

The glass pebbles, beautiful cluney lace & wooden spool are all from live and love crafts. The Kort and Godt rolled roses, sparkling button and cute little resin dove are all from the riboon girl. Links for both on line stores can be found in my side bar.

I've used one of my 'so wrapped up' Tilda heart doohickey, wrapped with organza ribbon, lace strings and shabby seam binding, with a tiny leaf charm.

I hope that you like my creation, I'm off to colour another one! Please pop back to see my DT Card at the beginning of next week.

Take Care
